I Was Thinking Of Getting The SOundcraft EMP6 Mixer I Heard That Has Good Pre-Amps :)

It Must Be Really Hard To Type Where You're Putting The First Letter Of Every Word As A Capital!

As I don't even know what a KRK G2 ROKIT 5 is I probably can't offer you much advice, but a preamp/channel strip is always useful for vocals...

Luck

I have an old psychology book that specifically mentions this behavior as a sign of serious mental instability. I don't know how much stock I put in that book, but it does say that...

@OP: What's wrong with what you have now? Seriously: Identify the single biggest problem with your current setup, then perhaps we can help you tackle that problem with your stated budget. That really is a much better plan than just buying *something* hoping for *something* to be better.

Are you having noise problems? Are you getting nasty resonance sounds around a certain frequency range? Does your current setup ultimately result in recordings that lack clarity or low end or that sound muddy, "boxy" - or hollow, perhaps? Does your microphone not seem to "get along" with your voice in some other way that you just can't quite put your finger on? Maybe your mixes just aren't translating to other systems very well - These are just a few of many possible problems for which suggestions could be offered to you by other members with more experience that would actually address the issue. However, if you can't identify a specific problem - my honest suggestion would be to put that money in the bank until you can. In the meantime just keep working with what you have....somehow I doubt you'll take this suggestion, since it's a boring one - but I highly recommend you at least consider it.

Does the buzzing go away or intensify when you move to another room? When you plug into different outlets? When the light is on? When the refrigerator compressor is running?

I'd run down that buzz before I did anything else.

The buzzing is still there when i moved into another room , i think there is something wrong with the cables or mic because when i click record its buzzing when i'm not even speaking

Well, moving into another room narrowed it down to not being a problem specifically related to the power outlet in your first room. It could still be anything else in your chain - you're gonna have to do some process-of-elimination to figure out what's causing it. Try another mic, then another cable, then another mixing board, each time only changing one thing till you narrow it down to the problem. Then - if it's something trivial like a cable - replace it, but if it's your mic or that mixer - well... then I'd say it's pretty clear that that's the thing you should be looking into upgrading...since you need a new one anyway. ;)

About the musty sound - I've actually never heard that description before - do you have any recordings online we can listen to to hear that?

Ermm no sorry but its kinda like something is in between the microphone and me when i speak which is making it unclear and its kinda rusty if you no what i mean

Is the cable plugged in all the way, and are you singing into the correct side of the microphone?
