My Problem With Loops In SONAR.

I have SONAR Producer and, just tonight, tried working with some ACID loops for the first time. No matter which loop I pull up, there is always this horrendous 'popping/crackling' noise running the full duration of the playback. Let me say that all of my other Wav. & MP3 files play without any unwanted noises. Would someone have a possible cure for me?

Just a moment ago I tried something a little different. Without going into SONAR, I went to my "Loops" folder and opened up a few. My 'Creative Playcenter' activated and played every single one of them without ANY extraneous noises. So the problem has to be with a setting within SONAR, itself. I have tried everything I could think of, to better this situation, but don't know what to do. Hopefully, someone out there has help for me.
