My little latency problem!

Then I must admit I have no idea. :( Weird. Well for now just move the event manually until someone figures out the problem. Good luck! :D

Ok Thanx anyway.
By the way witch you prefer record first guitars or bass ???

When there is a witch present, I let her decide. Otherwise; Drums, bass, guitars, lead voc, redo guitars, backup voc, solos, fix drums, fire bass player, backup voc, redo bass with new guy, hard drive crash, start over. That is my typical session. :D

Thanx :-) Jimmys69 I wanna hear some of yours sessions results if its look like you just said :-) Take care

Track delay is on 0.00 So it is not the problem. When i move it to -88 then it is OK that means that it is some kind of delay problem So any ideas :-) Please :-)

There's a reason for the Track Delay control. If it were meant to be stuck at 0 they wouldn't bother putting it there. Maybe you've already solved the problem and just don't know it yet.

I had to set the Record Offset control (probably the same thing as Track Delay) manually because the DAW I was using guessed wrong when I let it set it automatically. I simply looped an output back to an input and recorded the result. I then zoomed way in and measured the offset in samples and put that figure into the Record Offset control.

Good point. There is something in Cubase called 'Constrain Delay Compensation'. In C6 under Preferences>VST, you can adjust the 'Delay Compensation Threshold (for Recording). I have never had any reason to use this but hey, try bumping up that threshold to 88. ??? If it doesn't help, put it back to 0.00. Ironically enough, there are a few plugins that I noticed have a latency delay of 88ms listed in 'Plug in Info'. Are you using any effects while recording the track you find playing late?

Hope any of this helps you to figure out your issue. :)

Thanx a lot
I will try it tomorrow
have nice weekend guys !!! Take care

I am curious about your setup. PC? MAC? This problem doesn't seem like its related to Cubase. I have not heard of this issue before.

An old PC But it is not a problem (i guess cuz cool edit works fine) I will try to do some tests, record to metronome and then see I will let you know :-)
