Denver huh? That's cool man, I just moved back to Illinois from Colorado Springs. I played in a denver band though for over a year, Mouthful of Buckshot. I don't know if you had heard of us or not but yeah lol.

Mouthful of Buckshot! Great name man! What happened that that didn't keep you in Colorado?

Divorce man, I was out there with my ex wife who was an army girl at fort carson. Got divorced and moved back to Illinois. Yeah, we played all over colorado. What studio do you work at?

Divorce huh. Those can be tough. Had a couple of those myself. No fun......

I have worked in quite a few 'others' studios, mostly in the role of producer. Now that it is affordable, I put together my own. It's a continual work in progress, but getting pretty good results. My crappy website is in my sig. That reminds me, I gotta update the pix on there. I have made quite a bit of update since I posted them 8 months or so ago.

Yeah, sucks, I had to get rid of alot of my toys, but I'm working my way back up there lol. I still have alot of buddies out there man, I will have to send them up your way if any of them need some recording done.

well, that is if you don't mind working with metalheads. Well, death metal heads lol.

Oh and did you ever work at spike'd audio? That is where my old band went to do our ep.

Build it back up man. :)

Haven't heard of Spike'd, though there are a bunch of studio's in this city.

I'm down with some death! Send em up to check out my room if they looking for recording.

I just listened, and my first impression is that it needs a bass to really tell how stuff is gonna sit together.

But, I used to listen to a lot of Zao and other metalish kinda bands, and that is pretty much the sound they had. I think if that's what you;re after you're almost there. The drums are supposed to be dry, but I'd say they are a little too dry. And the guitars are supposed to be sizzly, but I'd say they're a little too sizzly. But almost there.

here is my newest attempt, after taking some advice from you guys

Tell me what needs to be improved on?
