awsome vox and strings, however, they seem to fight each other a little during the churs. I wasn't able to completely concentrate on the vocal only when the violin was playing, but, the violin sounds great when it's soloing.

Great song/recordng

Dude........Your voice is great man. Great first post. I thought the percussion was a little distracting but your vocal and the strings make up for it. Keep it up!

Very very nicely done. Exceptional guitar work, and great voice. The strings were a very good thought - the detuning gives it a little more heart, I think. Occasionally the detuning got a bit too much, but it's a small point. I'm also not sure the scale climb in the lower register near the end really worked.

But excellent work. Good song, good singer, well performed and recorded.:)

Welcome aboard.

did chrisharris ever get you those backup vocals?
I did the bg vox, and I actually like them a lot. I'm hiding this version, though. It's a totally cool recording and song without them, and they're nothing that he couldn't have already added if he wanted them.

But since nobody'll hear it but me, I'll just say that it totally kicks ass...LMAO.

Sounds great. First recording you say? Sounds like you have quite a bit of experience with recording.

Nice work, keep it up.

So would it be best for me to just cut at around 70, or should I drop everything from 70 down? (for the Djembe)

Does anyone have any suggestions on a way to have my percussion fit in better for the song? I will be doing more songs with similar instuments and would like to do the best possible.

WATYF, Let me know if there is anything you would like to do, I am kinda strapped for time, but in the summer I should have a lot of it.

Chris, I would still like to hear what you did, just for the fun of it, if you could PM me the link that would be nice.

Also if anyone can check out my post in the soundcards section I am struggling for a solution to my soundcard and headphones problem. Thanks.

And last of all, thank you so much for everyone who has posted, you have all been very polite, while also being helpfull.

This is awesome. I have no constructive comments. This just goes directly to the keepers folder.

I'm feeling inadequate again. :D
