I think the vocals are bad at times but really good at times. You guys tell me if I should retrack them.

Songs called "My Eye Wonders" only song up there.

Id also like to thank RAMI for the drums but not thank him for the trouble he stirred up in my thread before.
 
Yes, true, but its a pity the rest of it, the bass & guitars, are drowning the drums in the mix :mad:
 
DAS19 - good tune - I think the everyone played/sang well in this one. I especially like the vocals. They are on pitch and melodic. The guitar carries most of this song along but it needs to come way down in the mix to allow the other parts to blend. The drums are especially buried and need to be brought forward. Bass is pretty good, vocals are sitting well from what I can tell. Can you look at remixing and then repost...this is a good tune - just needs a few tweaks on the mixing....
 
yeah thanks ido1957 for the true and full critique. I know this is a good tune and this assholes are being dicks and siding with rami cuase they like to kiss his ass. Now anyway I want to redo some vocal parts did you really think the vocals were good??? I may look into using automation never really did. I am gonna try now to bring out the drums and will report the mixing check back tomorrow.
 
Better - I think you're getting really close. The drums could come up a hair because they seem quiet during the singing. They sound ok during the interludes between singing so I think only a bit up......Other instruments and vocals sound alot more even.....just a tweak on the drums...

And also I would maybe try to reduce the amp noise wherever possible.. although that could be tough on the ending....

RAMI did a great job on the drums on this - adds lots of color and dynamics.

And yes the vocals are very good.....

Okay try this for the balance, adjust the volume of the kick drum and the bass guitar till they are a basically the same level. Then try to adjust your guitar where it is around the same, maybe copy it to another track and pan them to give it breathing room in the mix. See what that does ....
 
I really did like the drums.... :confused: am I an asshole for that?
 
Is the amp buzz intentional? It can sound good or untidy depending on the feel of the song.
The riff is recycled quite well in the intro.
The verses have an odd sound from the high guitar.
The vocals could use a little thickening.
Nice song, more power pop - I love the genre.
Is the spelling in the thread title meant to be ironic or something else?
 
It is a single coil strat amp buzz comes and theres nothing I can do about it I dont think it sounds that bad.
 
Good song... The amp noise is maddening, and the cymbals sound like they've had the life choked out of them with compression. Perhaps a higher bitrate MP3 would help..

Vocals sound fairly well in time and on pitch. RAMI did a good job on drums.

Dude, the song is pretty good. :)

The melody is nice and the rhythm section is nice and hookin'.

The drums are really great. You got to use that to your advantage. Not many of us have real drummers do the drums for us.

The bass is very loud and drowning out the drums. The rhythm is a little drowning out the drums but after lowering the bass the rhythm might be ok.

The vox are not loud enough. Not audible enough.

The buzz is pretty distracting. I understand the buzz issues related to single coil pickups all too well 'coz I play a Fender. But either use a noise gate or manually edit them out.

Nice listen. The singing and playing is very good. :) Overall the mix is coming along nicely.

I am forced to remix it this time I can look at it differently becuase ive had a lot of time to listen to it.

Yeah, remix auto fade MOST of the coil buzz when the guitar isn't playing.
I like a little single coil buzz to. This song is really worth the effort of a remix.
