as with the Studio Projects C1, it has all taken them quite by surprize. Their 2001P was supposed to be their darling, but the reviews kinda' sucked, for lack of a better word. (And another interesting Studio Projects parallel, the 2001P was also essetially the same mic as the Joemeek 47, which SP was originally hoping to be THEIR darling) .

Chess,

Let me make a correction here. The JM47 was never intended to be a Studio Projects darling! The UK JM47 was the exact same mic as the Marshall, but after trying to import from England, the cost was too high, so I got permission from Joemeek and I did the USA version of it, but it was not intended to be a Studio Projects...it was a mic that could be marketed under the Meek name, but was different than the Marshall in design...:D

Our Darlings, (B Series) will be out in a few more weeks. The B Series is on the way to me now, so look for more heat in the low dollar range at the stores soon enough. This ought to prove very interesting, but you won't find them in MARS, GC, or Sam Ash...by choice..:D

Why is that, Alan? Seems like you could reach more customers using the big guys. By the way, I can't get Meek products at GC or Mars either. Had to do Musician's Friend. Whassup wit' dat?

Is the MXL V67M Studio Microphone good for Live performances?

I wouldn't recommend it for live vocal use where a band or instruments and loudspeaker monitoring are involved. A shure sm57/58 would be better in that situation.
