Has anyone purchased any decks or mixers from musicgoround.com? I just found out that they sell them. It's seems safer than buying from the bay or something. I know local is best, but if that's not an option it seems that buying from a company will secure things a little better. I know you'll never score anything for a sick price, but maybe it'll take some of the risk out of it. What do you all think?

I did seem some Tascam decks on musicgoround but thought the prices were a little high and the shipping too low. But I think they have a return policy, so if something arrived broken or the unit was not working, you might be able to return it and ship it back. I would check their policy or call them before ordering.

daddys.com has similar products also.

Yes, I've dealt with musicgoround a few times in the last 5 years and all the sales and shipping went well. They've been easy to deal with for me. I got lucky a couple times find items there for lower cost than eBay. Shipping terms are very reasonable. And old friend hooked me up with the site a few years ago and he still trades with them.

:)

I've used them quite a bit. Their are two store's about 1.5 hours from me. I had NO luck selling to them though. A few months back I brought in my Tascam 32 and an Otari MX5050B111 with roll cart and a Tama piccolo snare and total they wanted to give me less then 200.00 Needless to say I still have all three items. The Otari I am now using for looping and echo, the snare I kept as a spare, and the 32 is going to an HR member to cover mixing & mastering of our band EP.

Sweet. I think when it's time to buy some gear I might go through them. I definately prefer going through a company with a return policy. Thanks guys. I do appreciate it.
