MTV series "Making the Band"

hey hey...i consider my self a rapper(sorta) and i know how to mix engineer produce so ....:p

as for all you calling these guys immature stupid etc..... remember MTV ONLY SHOWS YOU WHAT THEY WANT TO SHOW YOU...i'm pretty sure ur life would look fucked up if they took a week of footage and compressed it to 15-20minutes...

i heard them on Power 105.1(NY station) recently like last week...i caught the end of it...they seemed pretty tight with each other...the only people i heard was chopper, ness and fred though....the rest might be gone? :confused: but i did only catch the end of the interview so who knows

the bad boys sdk is #1...not cuz of them but they still gonna eat ....well after puffy fills his belly first

Even if MTV would compress a two week period of my life into a 20min segment, you wouldn't see me having a fist fight 3 times or arguing all the time about stupid tings. The thing is, these 7 kiddos are incredibly immature. I don't think that they have no talent, though. They are all pretty decent rappers, as far as I can judge. Not very good, but certainly good enough to get out a few good songs -- especially given all the supporting people surrounding them. I think they (Diddy, that is) can't fail commercially, but I doubt that they'll manage keeping the group together for a longer period of time.
 
If everybody on the show got along there wouldn't be a show.

It would be like watching "The Diddy Bunch".

I bet Florence Henderson would like to get some Wycliff all up in da trunk!

They ain't pro rappers yet if they only use their fists. The pros use guns.

That is classic...LOL!!! And so true. I don't get mtv so I guess I don't get to see the making of the band rap version. Doesn't sound like I am missing much.
 
IMHO:

Today's "Pop" Market does not require the whole package. if it can sell by some means, it will. everything seems to be missing one element. examples

N*Suck - Definitly good singers with good looks, but bad music only preteen girls can tolerate which they couldn't even write themselves

Michelle Branch - Good music, pretty hot, my ex-girlfriend can sing her songs better than she can (email/pm me for a clip)

Matchbox 20 - good enough musicians, good songs, not the "coolest" image

I dunno, basically I hate tv, especially "reality tv" so i could really give a shit about some punk ass kids who think they can rap being produced by puffy. he should've went out and found people worth marketing, like Dre did with Eminem.

just like THRONGS of people LINED UP to buy "FLICKERSTICK",...
