MR-8 Incorporation

is there any other piece of gear that would specifically work well with the mr-8, as a companion piece as it were? i love the thing, but... i wish it did more and it seems so out of place with the rest of my gear...

With mine, i used a cheap mixer, but eventually jsut went to going from MAudio DMP3 to the inputs for most recording.
The best piece of outboard great for the MR8 is a computer, I would dump all my recordings into that and esit/mix from the PC.

I bought a Yamaha MG/10 mixer for use with my little red beast and have been extremely happy... Just as portable as the MR8 and great sounding pre's... Not to mention the phantom power and you can get them anywhere for under $100
