Since a lot of folks here are very familiar with the RNC .. I am just reviewing all the stuff about the RNC or impressions that I have .. this is true right?:
Though the RNC has a L and R I/O .. they both share the same compression settings right? So if I had the L with a TRS into the Insert of my Kick drum channel on my Mackie board and the R had a TRS into the Snare channel insert .. they both share the same settings .. correct? There is no way of applying different settings to each channel?
How about this here on their website for a stereo mix application :
http://www.fmraudio.com/rncapplicationspage.htm
Does this configuration with 2 RNCs used together mean that the L and R OUTs of one (the first with the "Real Nice" setting) .. is connected right into the INs of the second ( .. the second in Normal mode) .. or am I missing something..?
It's just that this seems to be a really great piece of gear and I want to understand the various applications and their purposes as well as the limitations to take a better and more informed decision with regard to the number of units I would need.
Thanks again folks!
