Montego II IRQ Problem.

Has anybody have this problem? I just swapped my old soundcard with Montego II, and I can't seem to record. When I went into Cakewalk or Cool Edit, I just get a blank signal. I thought it was the setup, and I did all the stuff I can think of, such as the IRQ settings, and lo and behold, there was a conflict...the Parent was something called Montego II Multi???

I am totally brainless with IRQ stuff. Can anybody help? :(
 
Did you delete all of the drivers from your old sound card before removing it by uninstalling them? If not, uninstall the Montego and its drivers, remove it, then replace the old sound card and uninstall it and its drivers in the Setup menu. Reinstall the Montego and its drivers. This should take care of any conflicts. If not, describe what else it is conflicting with.
