monitoring vocals while tracking

I am trying to track vocals on a lexicon omega and cubase LE. I am hearing laiotency and the vocal is delayed. It#s very hard to get a track recorded like that. I have tracked vocals with this setup in the past and the vocals were in the phones with no delay from latency. I can't figure out how it was set before but I figure the monitor mix was pre cubase before and now it's post cubase.

Anyone know how to fix this?

Did you try just turning off the monitor button. I don't know your interface but you can probably get the vocals with direct monitoring.

I believe I tried that and had no signal in thw phones...I will make sure.
