mobile pre problem

Hey guys, Im having a problem when recording after 15 mins or so it wont playback. It goes mute.

when I restart it comes back on. The headphones and speakers, this has to be the pre.
Is it defective or is this a common problem?
I had it less then 6 months my warranty should cover this?
im using the m-audio pre mobile..............
 
Tell us about the rest of your setup. What software, what kind of computer, is everything purchased or cracked, that sort of stuff.

If a reboot clears the problem, it sounds like it's in your computer.
 
cool edit 2.1 or A.A.. I have cracked plug ins..

the pc is p3 550 mhz 768 ram 40 gb,

someone mentioned it could be screensaver or sleep mode so I turned them off. Havent noticed the problem yet.
 
aaah! That may have been it. Hint: Get rid of the cracked software and get legit.
 
I just got the plug ins , to test them and they slow down my pc to the point of stopping it. So I uninstalled most of them already. I have a version of t-racks I think im going to stick to that since it doesnt bog everything down.

why is my computer all f'ed up?

maybe its my hardware..

maybe its my cables..

maybe its my cracked software!!!!

if you need to 'try' them, you can download demo's from the manufacturers website. thats right, you can have a complete demo of waves diamond bundle! for 10 days! thats plenty of time to decide id you like it.
 
oh and your computer is a lil on the old/outdated side. you're due for a motherboard/cpu upgrade.
 
im still having the problem with the screen saver off...
i know the pc is outdated i use that over my other one cuz it has a higher cache. and it in a quieter location.
this is a hardware or driver problem, not a software issue i use aa 2.1 wich is a free program. I dont see how cracks play a role in it.
this pc has all types of cracks and works fine.
I want to know if the interface is the problem while the warranty is still good.
Im waiting for there tech support to get back to me.
I know they have alot of problems with there drivers..

I run a MobilePre on a laptop with no cracked software and have no problems whatsoever. Try your unit on a clean system and see what happens.
