Mixing Console

For live sound, YES! recommended...
but for studio recording NO! :)
 
Depending on what you plan to use it for. I works great for a line mixer... keyboards, sound moduals, etc. I don't see it being MUCH better or worse than other mixers in its price range. I do like the fact that they have 8 mic-pres w/inserts. I use a pair of them for live recording. I have found them quite versitle and compact.
