Who still mixes with a console?

I'm just a hobbyist so for me getting the channels right and the effect settings is more than enough .

Often the vintage gear I'm using has some form of memory or I just set them up again. I hardly work on more than 2 songs at the same time.

We have become very spoiled. When i got my vg88 i felt like it was magic. Now you just think "why no proper interface of connectivity ;)

It does proof vintage gear keeps working and satisfying users. I don't see me using a modern modeler in 30 years time ;) but my s400/tube amps etc will
 
That was the hot setup for PA systems in the late 60s/early 70s. If a band came in with two of those monsters in the van you knew they were serious! Plus you could easily run them with a 35W Bogen PA amp. You didn't need 500 watts of power to be heard over the drums and guitars. :giggle:
I think when you say ‘Bogen’ then it’s required that you spell out the words Public Address System afterwards and not use the more common abbreviation of PA…..lol. Goddamn we’re are getting old.
