Reading all about Sweetbeats M-520 caused a bad case of mixer envy. That and not having enough inputs on my M-312b. I think that I would be happy with a M-320 but this M-520 was in Seattle and I was going through on my way to Anacortes and somehow it found it's way in to the back of by car :D It kinda followed me home.

So far everything that I've checked works. No real testing but then again all mic inputs work. Not bad condition, came with a non tascam stand and a manual. Just gotta make room for it.

Just missing a knob cap or 2 and a burnt out lamp....

Nice!

There's no excuse for GAS. Live with it!;)

MS-16, Meet M-520; M-520, Meet MS-16

"Mommy, this inline mixing console followed me home...can I keep it?"

:cool::cool::cool::cool::cool::cool::cool::cool::cool::cool::cool::cool::cool:

One of these days I'll be cool like you guys and upgrade to one of those from my M-2516.:p:D Nice score man!

Ethan, is that the one [the M520] that I gave you a heads up back in July? You didn't seem that interested then!!:eek::D:D;);)

Nice score man!!:):)

Sorry to have not appeared interested. I was tracking 2 or 3 of them including the one you told me about. None of those came through. This one came from Seattle and was both in Craigs list and eBay. Heck, it might have been one you spoke about (thanks!)

I have been totally slammed here at work (still am). It was making it hard to keep things straight. Getting the MS-16 working made it much more desirable to get a larger mixer so things changed overnight more or less.

This all means that my M312B will be up for sale and I'm more than willing (shame less) to promote it here on home rec. Not sure you could find a nicer M312B with those nice solid mahogany side panels :D

I just picked the mixer up on the 4th of Sept.

Ethan, no sweat. I just meant how things can change in a short period of time and now you have a nice M520. It's almost as if you've wanted one and it appears!:D;)

I can't get over the fact how many M520's were available in the Seattle area. Wow.

takes time to set it up....

....even if you don't take it apart first like Cory does.

Work in progress getting it all to fit.

Aw c'mon, Ethan...just...take it all apart! It was such a productive process for me...

The MS-16 and M-520 look great together...pennies on the dollar. Wow.

My brother used to have an engineer like that...Kibble...if she wasn't sleeping in the chair she was drooling on something...usually my face.

Where are the side-panels for your 520??

none

This mixer came without side panels. I was thinking about making up some out of my normal African Mahogany but that walnut you spoke about could be nice.

I could be persuaded to make 2 (or 3) sets if you were interested.

On another note - I might be interested in the walnut to make a case for a modular synth....

Ethan, the guy hasn't called me back yet...he has the habit of not calling back and then just appearing in the back yard one day...its pretty funny actually...he's funny. Anyway, PM me with the stock sizes you need...I think the panel thicknesses are, like, 25/32" on the M-520 which is probably the same as many other models.
