Yeah, it's really not that bad, maybe back it off a few dB... I think it's causing some pumping on the entire mix.... maybe back off the Limiter at the end on the entire mix....

I'd say your around 60Hz and down

it does have a nice tone to it, just a bit too much :)
 
Just out of curiosity, how did you get such good snare isolation?

I feel much better today. I am working on a new mix now. :D :D :D
 
did the drummer have really bad sounding toms on his kit?

I was also thinking of droping the vocals back a bit.
 
I'm pissing my pants, thats how excited I am to do a mix on this, i think i got a decent Idea what i want to do, I just have to wait till i get back in my studio (I'm in school right now) yeah... I'm looking forward to this!!

Now that's not a bad one...I think you could compress it a bit more, if you want to make it similar to other bands in this genre. You do have some good dynamics happening though. :cool:
 
can anyone else comment mine besides the subba stuff
 
gemma's mix. sounds good, there seems to be quite a bit of clipping and the vocals sound a bit burried, and there's quite a bit of mud.

but with this song i can't see how anybody wouldn't have any mud. becouse it's all prutty much going at the same freiquencies. plus my own mix also has quite a bit of mud and clipping in it. also i hate the biggining of my own mix and I messed up on the "real" singing (it's too wet) i would post it up but file cabbin is being a duchebag and stops responding evry time i try uploading the song...

any one know a better file sharing site?
