Haveing used the Rolands at college, I figured it'd be a nice module to use with my home setup, so I went and got my M-BOX and XV-2020 yesterday...but I have a few problems.
It's all set up, and I can get the MIDI signals running well, but I can't hear them! Sounds daft, but I've no idea what I'm doing wrong.
My setup:
PC -> USB1 -> M-BOX
-> USB2 -> M-Audio Midisport
Midisport MIDI Out -> Roland XV-2020 MIDI IN-> M-BOX IN 1 and 2 -> M-BOX OUT (Phones - lack of leads) -> Mixing Desk -> Speakers
For the time being I have no MIDI controller/keyboard but I should still be able to hear it, right? I've checked the MIDI lead is going from the Output of my Midisport to the Input of my Roland.
Incidently, I can record the demo song from the module and that comes through, yet when its played back, it's really choppy.
Please don't flame! I'm kinda a newbie when it comes to MIDI.
Any help will be appreciated
Thanks
