Mic suggestions

I need a few suggestions on mics (mainly for vocals, sometimes guyitar etc). I am looking in the price range under 150.
And what is the difference in the mic types, I keep reading condensor and other types. i dont remember what they are.

I would look at the sticky posted at the top to understand the differences better between mic types. Under $150 is a limited crowd for decent mics anyhow, the MXL V67G might make a decent choice.
