dumbass

This guy has very simple question and none of you can give him a good answer! (not dissin, just find that funny)

We cant give him a good answer because he hasnt been giving us enough information.

Anyways, eventhough I'm a newbie, couldn't you just get some sort of of connecter/converter that you can plug your midi into that turns the cords to digital and then plug that into the mia...

Yes that sounded very stupid.

aka,
Yes, the heaphone output could work but it would not be my first choice. You really need a line level output. Do you have the instruction manual?? Try and figure out what that assingable output is. I will try to find some info out about your keyboard but I cant promise anything.

hi AkA,

By coincidence, I happen to have the same brand of keyboard, although I suspect that your md1700 has more keys than my optimus md1200.

That's right. The keyboard does not have a line out. It has a headphone out which works quite fine. THe sustain input is just to add a sustain or sustenuto pedal.

I'll send you a demo of a song I did with the md1200. The headphone outs are good, except that they are slightly noicier than line out, but its not something anybody but the song creator will notice cos I have heard more noise from pro recordings.

By the way, I love the fingered bass sample on the md keyboards

aw man...your the greatest cy...yo the headphone worked through my old soundcard...
