Have a makie 24X8.. no meter bridge..spent 3 weeks on the internet.. none anywhere..read on this site an old post form someone in the same situation. Turns ourt you can substitutwe the Behringer MB 8000 meter bridge from the Eurodesk 8000 since they were identical to the Mackie 24x8(mackie sued) Anyway the ribbon connections are the same, just have to check the pinout schematics. Anyway this guy latter posted that he found the MB 8000 hooked it up to the mackie and it worked. mWell now the problenm is I can't locate an MB 8000 either.such is the sad state of affairs when you have an old analog studio with disacontiued gear. Anyone out there have any recomendations to finding either meter bridge, or possibly another solution?
Thanks all

Check out the new Behringer X32 console. You'll never look back.

+1 a hell of a lot of mixing desk for £2000 but if your budgets wont quite go that far maybe look on ebay for a used Yam DM1000V2 with meter bridge. These desks are rock soild and can be found for around the £1000 mark. These desk were £4000+ a few years ago !

Some very clever things inside, we use them for hire and my own muitl recordings and i was told a few years ago now that the BBC used / use them. Eighter way for £1000 it is a hell of a lot of desk.
