top to bottom and growing weekly

M-Audio Delta 1010
Behri composer 2100
Behri V-amp pro
Lexicon MPX 100
Alesis Microverb III
1U Spacer for heat
Allen & Heath RPS3 power supply

On the floor a Cambridge audio power amp and a Sony mini disk recorder soon to be replaced by powered nearfields and a dat recorder for masters...hopefully that ans a power distributor will cure my LF hum....but I'm guessing it's the M-Audio Delta 410 with the unbalanced outs causing the problem

Next on the list....

Another Delta 1010 and a neighbour eraser ;)

Looking at my racks right bow:

Anytime soon now:
Kurzweil Mangler
Kurzweil Rumour
and maybe a focusrite red preamp

Not Much
1. Behringer Virtualizer (Whitmans sampler of all sorts of dynamics/effects/sims good for deciding what sort of gear you want to get. I now know that I would like to purchase a decent pitch shifter for instance)
2. Bi-amp spring reverb unit from early eighties I think. It's awesome.
Will probably purchase a Dmp3 or possibly another outboard pre soon.
Also researching compressors under $200. Curious about Ashly Parametric EQ.
I'm a big proponent of exausting the abilities of the gear that I already have before getting the next piece. When I used to use a lot of effects on guitar I bought so much shit none of which I use or own anymore (Hocked a lot of it after highschool). I don't want to get sucked into the same gear hole with recording. It's hard.

Just starting out

Yamaha MG 12/4
M-Audio DMP3
M-Audio Delta 1010
Behrin(cough)ger Powerplay Pro XL HA4700
Roland GP-8 guitar effects processor

Yo, Fraserhutch!

I wanna come play at your house!:D

Whereabouts in Seattle are you? I'm up north in Marysville, and play guitar and sing a bit.

Jerry Garcia was my main man until he departed for the wild blue yonder.

Looks like you've got this recording "thing" under control. Very nice setup.

Blue bear,

How is that studio projects toob preamp? anygood? really good. Plain bad?

anyway it is dirt cheap...

Then the dbx 386 stereo pre/converter. 1U

A Mixer (A&H Mix Wizard 16:2) in a rack mount tilt-up case. 10U

Then a custom PC in a rack mount case. 4U

The Delta 1010. 1U

And the Hafler TA-1600. 2U

Hmmm... my stuff is all over the place. Bought, stored some while house being built. House built, bought more while working on some recording space. Buying more all the time. Not much, and nothing outstanding though, really 100% just for my own pleasure. Let's see:

3 Rackrider/Furman power conditioners - 1 for live use
BBE - Sonic Maximizer - live PA use. Best $100 I spent for Live use.
TC Electronics - M300
ART - Tube Pre II
FMR - RNC
Behringer - Bass VAmp Pro
Focusrite - Voicemaster Pro - sold, looking for an upgrade (Toft?)
Alesis - HD24
DBX - PB48 patchbay

Hmmm... that's about all the rack mount stuff I think. Looking to upgrade to a nice preamp, thinking Toft at the moment.

Joe Meek MQ3 pre/comp
Alesis DM Pro
ART 341 EQ
Alesis Midiverb IV
ART Pro VLA
Behringer Ultrafex Pro---(either I don't know what I'm doing, which is possible, or this Behringer sucks...oh well. Anybody have thoughts on the BBE sonic maximizers, Aphex the way to go, or do I need to spend some more time with the Berry?)
TASCAM CDRW-700
