Dang! That's you?

Makes me wish I was a righty and had a job!:)

Hey John, do you do fret work?

I'm in Norman also and I've been looking for someone to refret an acoustic. I'm not sure I want to take it to any of the "repair" shops in town.

yeah I can do it. It's not cheap as it is a lot of work (I charge $200) but It's either that or take it to honest Ron's and he is backed up for weeks and weeks...and is prolly about the same price...heck maybe more I have no clue..If I can help let me know.... What kind of guitar is it?

Thanks John. It's a Takemine EG330SC. It's not a high-end acoustic, but I love it and have played the heck out of it. The frets still have some life left, I'm just trying to figure out the best place to take it when I need it done.

I figured Honest Ron could do it, but I don't really like to deal with him. And, frankly, can you really trust someone who has to advertise that they are honest? :)

I didn't expect a fret job to be cheap, $200 sounds reasonable.

Do you have a shop or is this something you do in your spare time? Can you shoot me your phone # or e-mail address for future reference?

Cheers!

I do this full time. I always thought the same thing about Honest rons...seems like he shoulda just called it Ron's guitar repair...anyway... you can find all my contact info incuding phone numbers and e-mail addresses on my webpage. www.mayesguitars.com
