Mastering from a 1" 8-track

I don't actually do mastering. I do think the 1/4" format works well for mixdown. I could set up my M-23 to do 1/2", too, but it's not really worth all the trouble and expense. I don't need the 1/2" format and I don't have customers who expect it.
