Maybe Im Barking Up The Wrong Tree - I Have Been Contacting Some Of The High Schools And Colleges With Marketing And/or Video Production Facilities About Trying To Create An Internship Or Even A Scholarship For Their Students . . .

Im Trying To Do It, Because I Want To Be Able To Get A Good Networking Avenue Or A Good Synergy . . . Where I Get Some Thing And So Do The Students . . . I Get . . . A Music Video (for Instance)
And The Students Get . . . Work Experience, Credit In A "real World" Project . . .

No Takers . . . Im Bout To Say "screw It" - But Does Anyone Have Any Ideas As To How I Can "sweeten" The Pot . . .

see where your going with it and ironically here we got the opposite problem all the students are more than happy to do it but there's nobody willing to let a student have a crack at it i wouldnt try the high schools but keep going with the colleges theres always someone in there willing to be all steven speilberg obviously offer a glowing reference and credit on the video but also what you could do is offer them something like if you get any greater success off the back of the video e.g. a deal involving larger sums of money you will take them with you up the ladder so to speak, other than that theres not a lot you can do

I'm actually a bit surprised by this. Maybe it isn't the right time of year, though. I'd think that a high school/college audiovisual student (or students) would jump at the opportunity...at least for a midterm or final project. Maybe check with the head of the schools and see if you can just post something for their audiovisual departments. Word it so that they're interested in doing it for their final project. Maybe something like:

"Great Opportunity For Your Final Project!

Central Virginia music artist in need of great music video!

Do you have what it takes?

Contact me, GullyJewelz, at 555-555-1212 or gullyjewelz@gullyjewelz.com

Great for a portfolio piece as well! I will also give you creation credits!"

Maybe something like that.

Are there any "specialty" schools in your area, like ones that specialize in audiovisuals? Try to contact them.

You're absolutely right. Whoever takes on your project, it'll basically be a win-win situation. You get your music video, and they get a nice portfolio piece.
