Mackie Power Supply?

My friend got a Mackie 32 channel 8 bus board, but it doesn't have a power supply. We found one for $500. Is there any kind of cheap alternative? We don't care if it's rack mount or not, but we want the stupid thing to turn on.

Probably proprietary. If you had the schematic of the wire pin outs and what voltages, current, ect go to them, I suppose you buy a bunch of parts from an electronics web site, and fab your own? Would probably be lots cheaper, but might but might be easier said than done..

Yeah, but it's still the same price as everybody else, $499.
