I have a mackie 24.8 mixing board. I need the power supply cord that plugs into the wall. I cannot afford a 200+ dollar cord from ebay, etc. What else can I use?

Are you missing just a cable or the whole rack mount power supply? If it's just the cable it's probably a generic IEC power cable. If it's the rack mount unit there's no simple replacement.

You may need that 200+ cord :(
I do believe they have a rack mount.

Mine is rack mountable- didn't know there was any other,, without pulling it out from the wall-- it sure looks like IEC.

Are you Shure you don't mean the DC supply cord?
That would definitely be a whole other thing..

If it is just a IEC, why don't you just buy one from any electrical store?

Alan.

I would bet a dollar the OP needs the whole thing. He'd know if he had the thirty pound rack Power Supply...

What is the actual model of the Mixer, 24.8 is not enough, when I looked it up it only has a IEC cable, must have been the wrong version of a 24.8

Alan.

I had a 32.8 for a bit. It looked impressive, and I thought it would help me make my recording space into a better rehearsal space. It sounded its age, though, and added too much noise....

It definitely had a huge rack mounted power supply.
