M-Audio FastTrack Pro Help

Hey, I just got a M-Audio FastTrack Pro USB Audio/Midi interface. It's sounds great! I just have one problem the guitars sound alittle muffled and unclear whenever I record both guitars. I pan the guitar tracks anywhere from 50 to 80% so what can i do to make them sound more pro? please help

Well that is Probably a Mic Thang...What Mics are you useing ?? Maybe try different Placement of Mics or even try different mics, Or try some Plugins Like maybe some Compression on the Guitar as Compression tends to make the Guitar have more pressance and stand out more and be less Muted....

the main mic i use for guitars is a Audio Tecjnica DRVX1 i put it rite in the middle of the speaker touching the cloth.

and how can i get the most pro sound out of it and i also have a Alesis MultiMix8 so please tell me how i can get an amazing sound somehow.
