Lubricant for Tension Arm Rollers???

What is the best lubricant to use on the tension arm rollers of an Analog tracking machine? Mine are squeaking qutie a bit and slowing the rewind down considerably. I have a Fostex E-16 1/2" by the way.

My R8 did this when I bought it. I used some WD-40 on the metal rod and all is now well.
 
Tri-Flow...and whatever you do, make sure to clean the metal surfaces thoroughly before applying the lube and apply sparingly. You don't want it getting all over anything but what you intend.

Are you sure your tape isn't bad? What kind of tape are you using?
