Looking For Help With My Record and New Musical Relationships

Hello. I'm a singer, songwriter, musician, and producer. I'm currently creating my first album, staying in the styles of pop and RnB. While I'm creating the majority of my music, lately I feel that I need some ideas and guidance from others. I'm not the best with certain aspects of composition and music production, like layering things to achieve certain sounds and using sound FX in effective ways to benefit the way the music moves. I also need some ideas on the way one of my songs should move composition-wise for it to feel full and more complete.

Right now, I have a song that I feel needs a similar style to a lovely tune called "Beautiful Girl", a demo by Michael Jackson. Here is the song:

I hear a lot of interesting melodic movements, sound FX and drum/percussive ideas that I'd like to use as inspiration for a record I'm currently working on. But.. if I'm being honest, I feel that I will need to collaborate with someone to help me fill in the production and identify and/or create better sounds and composition ideas to use for it. The vocal and lyric are ready... It's the song form that needs some sculpting. If anyone would be able to chat sometimes and/or help I'd so appreciate it. Just a guy looking for new musical relationships and trying to learn more.
