i have a mpc2000 and a asr 10 keyboard and a 24 track mackie board. and a roland 1680 recorder. i have my mpc and asr 10 midi .i have them hooked into mackie board. and the roland also hooked to a channel on the mackie. now to record into the roland do i just run it from my master outputs on the mackie to the channel fadrers on the roland? Also i cant get the input level high enough on my roalnd without it peaking. so when i play it back to where its not peaking the recording is real low. any suggestions? thanx

You can use the main outs or the inserts on the back for individual channel outs.

To even out your levels you probably need to cut some bass or use some compression.

I was going to refer the same information that TexRoadkill just shared with you.
