Figured I might as well post my studio's latest updates here - it's been a while since the last photos!

WOW! WOW! WOW!

My studio (or at least the start)

Here are some pic's of what I have. I'm only 16 and my budget is tight. The pic's are small because they are taken with my cell phone. (sorry)

WOW! WOW! WOW!

The "WOW" factor is measured in $$$$$$. Bruces happens to have LOTS of wow factor. It should. It was designed by John Sayers. John is NOT free. Nor is the construction. Nor is the equipment. Very WOW all the same I must say. :)
Just for the record though, most Homestudio WOW factors are measured in DIY hours. Otherwise we would ALL have studios akin to Bruces. That is not to say it is not cool.

For those of you just starting out, keep in mind that Homerecording doesn't NEED the wow factor. What Bruce has that is MUCH more important, is skills. He could make a great recording with a Porta Studio in a shack. :D

Here's my 2004 and going into 2005.

Basic 10x10x8 room...

Did some wall lo-mid traps (blues) and corner bass traps (blacks)
from the gang here.

still need to work on a window and the back wall.
Room still has some trebly's IMO...

Ok then, here's the shots you've all been waiting for ... and they're pretty damn piss-poor too. Loads of my gear was out on live duties (including my mixer which isn't wired back in fully yet), and also my photographical abilities really suck. Here's my main desk with my headphone mixer underneath:

And here's the piano and my secret weapon (yes, the pink inflatable):

This is the mixer, which is in the other room with my PC (auxiliary KVMs wired through to the desk in the first pics). I tastefully included my housemate's dodgy copy of VST 5 for you all to marvel at:

And my newly trimmed-down mic set - sold a couple of C1000Ss and some extraneous junk so that serious upgrading can take place in the near future!! L-R: E835, Soundstar MkII, SE2200, 545D Unidyne III and E845. There are four more E845s boxed up downstairs, but you all know what they look like so I don't need to get anthropomorphic about this:

I've enclosed a link for photos of my studio. As someone else in this thread posted, it's not one of the fanciest studios around, but it suits my needs.

Same here! ;)

wow noisedude....you can't make pictures to save your life! :D

haha....studio looks nice though :)

Thanks mate, I know I'm a bit weak on the whole 'how to take a photo' thing. Link me up to a website that explains how to take pictures and I'll get you something better!!! :)

Hey man, I currently run all-legal Tracktion and am getting a copy of Cubase SE next time I have some spare cash. Unless my PC problems drive me to kill myself first.

It's all good. How do you play the drums with that pedal in the way? ;) :D

Still having PC problems? I thought you fixed them?

No. I got them a lot better, but no fixage. I can make music out of loops and samples, but if I run a 4-minute take, the second two mins are still full of crackles. I'm just short on time to sort it out, so I'm weighing up my various options of what to do. :)
