So I thought I would share some things with the noobs, some things that I have learned here and there that may help you get on the fast track to getting good recordings. Less is always more, my big problem I had was I was alway trying to spruce things up alittle, more compression, more eq, more dynamics. Don't do that! The less you have to do to, the better it will sound. I promise, this is lesson 101 for you guys that care. Hope this helps alot of you, here is a little sample that I did to show you that less is more. The only thing on this is alittle comp on drums, and a limiter on the master bus. no eq, no nothing. Also, this is to show you that you don't have to have alot of equipment to make a good recording, this is amp sims, ezdrummer, direct in bass track, and my own vocals.
