The gold coat I removed can not be nitro, you said it was and then modified your answer after I said that lacquer thinner would not dissolve it.

I modified nothing. I told you twice it is nitro. It is. There are many types of Nitrocellulose finish.

You were unable to shift it with thinners because of the plasticizers that Gibson put in there nitro these days (and have done for sometime) and the carrier they use to shoot the flake. I have given this information out here before but you cant or wont search. This is a classic example of how you refuse to to learn. You simply can not be wrong which unfortunately makes you almost permanently so. Learn how to learn.

I will let you know when I hear from Gibson on Monday what it is, if it was nitro based the lacquer thinner would have melted it.

I am very "Real", that seems to be the problem around here in the land of make believe.

VP, I don't care. I can call Gibson anytime I want. I am on the list of approved handlers for their warranty issues.

Seriously I don't care. You will not be told and I don't doubt for one minute that when Gibson tell you it a two pack pre cat you will come back and tell me I was wrong and then I'll have to tell you that a two pack precat is a nitrocellulose lacquer and then you'll get all butthurt again and this will all start over. It's how this goes. You are genetically incapable of being wrong. You have proved this................................ Learn how to learn. Also learn some grace in your approach to people you seek answers from.

^^^^^^^ This ^^^^^^^^^^^^^

We actually are not a bad bunch but you cant hide anything here. At least not for any length of time...

You have no idea what I am doing right now, I think you will have to eat your words in a bit.

Turns out I do know what you're doing right now - trollin'.

You're a liar. You presented this as something you're in the process of doing, when in reality, it's already done. I don't understand why you did it this way when you could have just shown it all from beginning to end. I don't understand why you came back to troll and spam. Your intentions and motives are suspicious. What was your end game here?

So by your definition am I "wrong" for using corn starch body powder on my hands while playing? BTW, Jeff Beck, Keith Richards, Ray Davies and Tony Iommi among others, all have used powder on their hands.
