layla 3g samples

hey, i am about to buy a echo layla 3g, as soon as i hear some audio samples beacuse i am scared i will loose the analouge sound from my mixer that i love so much

so if any body has links to music recorded wit hthe echo layla 3g, i would really appreciate you sharing them.

Can't give you any samples right now, but I have the Layla 3G and it's a rock solid interface - absolutely no problem with drivers and whatnot. I easily pushed 50+ tracks at low latency. I never used the built-in preamps, though, since I got some external ones, so I can't vouch for those. It's a great choice.

im sure its great piece of gear, ive heard alot of good stuff regarding how weel it works, but i would like to know how well
it actually records the sound.

analouge and digital is just differnt, and that diffrence means alot to me, so if it sounds to digital i will be less happy with my recordings

If you go to http://www.myspace.com/ramblinboys and click on the big album picture you can download the record for free, all of it recorded on my layla 3g (track 11 is the best sounding IMO). The preamps I use are pretty shitty so take that into consideration. I have nothing but good things to say about the layla. I have had it for almost 3 years and have yet to have a problem with it.
