Hello, just a quick question I have about a concern of mine, though I would appreciate a couple of answers for that.
I was going to buy the KRK V6 studio monitors for my setup to record our band's demo. But a friend of mine can get a deal out of the V4... Since money is not the biggest concern here, if the V6 would be better suited for our recording purposes, we'd still choose them over the V4. I've been told the V6 would be better because they offer better bass fidelity when transposing the mix to another sound system. But a friend of mine said it wouldn't really matter for our style of music and if we don't like how the lower frequencies turn out, we can adjust them and remix the track to a cd.
Our music ranges from funk, disco to britpop and rock alternative. We have instruments such as drums, keys, guitars, bass, vocals, and other fx/sounds. Would the V4 be a good choice or should I still go for the V6s ? I'm looking to know which one would be the best for us assuming they cost the same, and if the V6 really would be better for our use, I would also like to know where the V4 stands compared to them.
Thanks,
Francis.
