I don't think I could say enough great things about this product. Having had one since October it has been a joy to work with. I had a full studio setup with Mackie board and ADAT back in the early 90's. This has it all over that in spades. The built in effects are NOT compromised with full adjustability in all. Tons of them as well. From emulated tube preamps and mics to guitar cab emulations as well as a bevy of various compressors, limiters and reverbs. It's no problem to find what you need in the array that's for sure. Sonically it is above reproach. Rich, dynamic range great and overall learning curve very small indeed. It's a very deep machine as well, for those that like to tinker. Versatility would get a 9.5 on a 10 scale. Also not a bunch of plastic. Stained wood ends, solid metal top, back and front as well as bulletproof inputs. The knob matrix system makes it fast and intuitive to use the effects on. The built in preamps will shock you with their range and quiet nature. All in all it's a no brainer for under 2 grand.
