hi there ...
quick question ... I have a JV1010 and a Motif rack ES modules ..
the JV101 has only 2 outs (lef & right)
Motif rack ES has 6 outs (Left & Right, assign1,2,3,4)
Both my JV1010 and Motif are hooked up to a MIDI patch bay and all outs are hooked up to a 24 ch mixing board ..
I'm using Cakewalk 9 as my sequencer program for midi tracks ..
Question ..
I like the bass and muted guitar sound on the roland jv1010 .. How do I just get the bass track from the sequencer to play from the JV1010 module only and same goes with the muted guitar sound form the JV1010 too ..
Right now, it seems to be coming off the Motif and when I turn on my roland JV1010, all the tracks seem to play also from the JV1010 along with the Motif es ..
I just want the bass track from the left output ch on the JV1010 and the muted guitar sound from the right output ch on the jv1010 ... and no other sounds sound be coming off the JV1010 and same goes with the Motif es too .. The bass and the muted guitar sounds should now be cut off from the motif ....
Can one tell me if this is possible and how can it be done ... I have to change something in the software or on the modules ... I tried a changing a few parameters, but it didn't help ..
