Hi all, I've been searching around and getting some great ideas for starting my new home studio. I am planning to start out recording electric guitar, acoustic guitar and vocals.
Here's what I am planning so far.
Everything controlled by a Macbook laptop using standard garage band for now.
I already have a M-audio mobile pre that I will use to start.
AT4040 microphone - going to be my 1st and only microphone for quite a while.
ATH-M50s headphones.
Tall boom stand.
Short boom stand.
Pop filter for vocals.
The next step (after some recovery from the spending already) will be;
Apogee Duet audio interface.
Mac Studio software - any recommendations?
Room treatments - any recommendations?
Thanks for any advice or suggestions that you can provide. I look forward to learning from you as I attempt to wade through this.
