Whats the difference between a Dinky and a Soloist? Is it just the alder body VS mohogany body w/ maple top?

My recollection is the Dinky is a slightly smaller body.

A smaller body huh? It doesn't appear so in the few photos on I DL'd from their website and went back and forth looking at.

I just looked over the specs again and it appears the Dinky is a bolt on maple neck and the Soloist is a mohogany neck thru. So that is a fairly big difference after all.

The main difference is that a Soloist is a neck thru and a Dinky is a bolt on, that goes all the way up to the top of the line USA Select series.
The USA Select soloists are maple neck thru with an alder body, and the dinky is an alder body and maple bolt on.

You can also the MG series soloist which is a fully mahogony neck thru guitar, but that's not the typical soloist.

Ahhh....see I only looked at the specs of one. I didn't even look at the others. I see they offer alder. I was wondering why it was so different than the Kelly and the V.
