Is This Correct?

After I create a single stereo wav from a mixdown, I bring that wav back into n-Track, and then use the main output to apply mastering effects. I have 3-4 effects running on that master channel.

My question is, will the order I create them in be the signal chain from start to finish? In other words, I see my EQ at the top of the effect plugins list, then my compressor, then my maximizer, then my exciter.

Does this mean they are running in that order?
Or, should I apply only one mastering effect at a time, creating separate wavs as I go along?

Do you hear a difference when you change the order?
I believe N-Track applies all effects seperatly unless you specifically chain them together.

You are correct.The order in which the effects are listed is the order in which they are processed.Good point,by the way.You wouldn't want your nice reverb tails to be modulated by a flange,for example.
