NO!!! DATs are unreliable, and a tape that plays fine on one machine might not play well on another. I've experienced this firsthand and it's quite annoying. DATs played a crucial role in the development of digital audio, but its days are numbered (IMO).Eric Altizer said:Okay so what is the life cycle of a DAT tape drive?
