Well, I don't want to start any wars, but I'm seriously looking at getting a mixer, and as my last post stated, I was lookint at the Behringer UB1832FX...
...But I was looking on Ebay, and there is a guy selling a NADY CMX-16A for a little more than that Behringer. Can anyone tell me anything about the NADY mixers?
Thanks,
Jed

Yo Jed:

I can't comment on the Nady mixer since I've never used one; however, I can tell you this.

In the past I've bought two NEW Nady products, both were amplifiers.

Out of the box, brand new, both of them were defective. Twice was enough for me with Nady products.

But, it might be a good box. I hate to buy something new and find that it's defective.

Green Hornet :D :p :D

Ok, Thanks Hornet. I'll probably end up with the Beringer mixer, as it's cheaper, and definatly more than enough for my "dinking around" right now. No sense in my spending all the extra $$$ for a large mixer or special brand, when I'm just learning how to run Sonar! :-)

Thanks again,
Jed

Just be careful; Behringer's quality control isn't much better than Nady's. Throughly check out and play around with the unit as soon as you get it out of the box, and only buy it from folks who have good no-hassle return policies.

I had to return my first Behringer to the store due to a number of serious issues. The second one I picked up is fine.

Appreciate the tip, Esactun. I think I'll get it from Musician's Friend, so I can get free shipping when I add cables and stuff to the order. :) They have a pretty good return policy, don't they?
