Greetings!

It is the Pro Tools LE 7.0. I've lost the manual book which has the serial number on it...Is there any other way to get the serial number?? Plus I don't think I have the member registration... bought it about 3 years ago.

In fact, it wasn't mine but I'm here seeking for help.

PS:sry for my poor english

the only way i know is to log into your digisign / avid account and go to my products. here will be listed codes for every version of protools to which you have entitlement.

If it was never registered though, nothing will be listed.

If this is the case, i think you're stumped. Without registration there's no proof of ownership, and without that, they wont help.

Pro tools seven is starting to get outdated now though; Perhaps this is a nice excuse for an upgrade?

Maybe try out Reaper instead of downloading from torrent sites????

;-)

It seems that is the only way. too bad i don't remember if they got it registered or not few years ago. and i wonder if they still remember the acc if they did. but it will need the number for installation first before going further.

7 is outdated. so far i willing to get PT M-powered 8 but i'm new to these things. would like to make my own setup for instrument recording and music arrangement.

Thanks for the help, it was encouraging. :D

I think Tim was suggesting that a user who has pro tools but no serial is likely to have have just downloaded it from a torrent site...read-stolen it.
Don't wanna put words in his mouth though :p

A copy of Pt9 is for sale here in the free adds section.

Reaper also gets great reputation as mentioned, but i haven't used it myself.
