Rod is right...change that stupid name. Whites are not allowed to call blacks that, blacks don't want to be called that, but commonly refer to themselves as that. If you don't want people to think of you as a nigga, stop acting like a nigga. No matter what your recording experiences are, most of us can't stop laughing at your name....and some of us are offended at not being able to call someone who behaves and thinks like a nigga, a nigga.
Now, you can't dabble at being a recording engineer anymore than one can dabble at horse racing or dragsters. You have to start at the beginning, like ALL of us did. We decided to spend some money on recording gear, some books on the subject, spend MORE money on MORE recording gear, etc... You have to learn this stuff...we can't help you mix what you hear in your head, on equipment we don't have. You need to download new copies of all the manuals you've lost. ALL studios, any size, have a manual for every piece of equipment, nicely stored in a 3 ring binder. We don't have every piece of equipment memorized. Once you use the same stuff over and over you'll need manuals less and less.
You seem to be fixated on how your work will sound in a car... Your studio should also have some inexpensive car stereo speakers as some sort of reference point. My home studio, not a great one, has four pairs of speakers...one set I designed and built myself, two sets of different store bought monitors, and a crappy pair of grey plastic York speakers, probably from a long dead boom box. They cost me $1 at Goodwill. I think you were doing rap so I have no clue how to mix rap for a car. The majority of people don't have massive speakers and sub woofers in their cars. When you have some extra money you should probably pick up a sub for your studio. Parts-express.com has lots of inexpensive speakers.
This project is going to cost you money, take up space in your room, require you to study 'how to record at home' books, and patience. Common sense helps. Once you use a professional name instead of something that is offensive you be off to some sort of start. Contrary to what most beginners think, controversy usually does NOT sell, especially stupid names. After Lady Gaga's meat dress nothing is 'outrageous' anymore....it's quite common place. Few will be drawn to the word nigga on a music for sale list. Get bright and stop acting like a 13 year old...."Oooo...I've said something naughty...!" Hugs...Nyms
