Im so flippin lost...

Alright i get my paycheck friday... $150... i been searchin the net for a good mic to use for our music... preferably vocal recording... and all ive found were stage mics for live performances n whatnot?... i need something to go directly to my computer, and it'de be nice to not have to get a new soundcard... but whatever it takes, someone help...

I'd try a USB mic. It's gonna suck, but not as bad as plugging into your souncard, if you have a consumer card.
