Hi,
So basically, I'd like to hook up a microphone I got for christmas it's the: Supreme CU-1.
Now, I'm a gamer, and I'd like to have a quality microphone for talking with friends on skype and teamspeak but besides that also be able to in the future record my gameplay with an AWESOME microphone commentary.
The gear I'm thinking I need is:
Microphone OWNED - Supreme CU-1
Mixer: Behringer Xenyx Q502USB NEW: Behringer Xenyx Q802USB
Cables:
The USB cable that should come with the mixer. (Will this power the mixer, or do I have to buy that power cable for it aswell?)
XLR in to out
Do I need to buy more cables and connect or is it just me? I've not quite found any forum threads or any guides on how you can hook up a mic to a pc without being a "how to setup a mic for home studio", which is NOT what I'm going to do.
NOTICE: I just found out that the mixer I wanted is not capable of delivering 48v which my mic is using, the wanted mixer I now want to use is the Behringer Xenyx Q802USB
