How to hold the mic at a concert???

I dunno.... call me old fashioned, but I still think that if you cant get 4 or 5 people in a garage with guitars, drums, keyboards (playing, not programming) etc and do an accurate representation of a commercial CD, then it's just not music.

I'm not talking lyrics here, just music and the quality of the musicians. It's real music versus digital techno rubish created by a geek on a computer.

It emerged as a form of entertainment and should remain just that. Not be twisted and manipulated to be political or a voice for the people............if that is what it becomes then it will isolate itself and ultimately be only remembered as another psuedo-musical fad of the late 20th century.

So why can rock and roll be political but not hip-hop? They're both (capable of being) about equally superficial.

people who hold mics in their mouth probably swallows... :)

rappers that perform in music awards just yell into the microphone as if it wasn't amplified. -- they also hold mics upsidedown... given the position of the ball and shaft.. hmmm.. practicing there , ahem, technique...
