how do I clean unused session files ?

How do I clean all unused files in a session ?

Say I got a few recorded tracks and want cubase to delete all takes that I don't eventually use on the pool...

If you are using SX select clean up from the file menu. Now select the project file which contains the audio you have recorded. Any unused files will now be deleted from your hard drive.

Alternatively open the pool and right click. Now select remove unused media, you will be presented with the option to send it to the trash or remove it from the pool . If you remove from pool then the audio will stay on your hard drive but cubase will no longer have any references to it. If you move it to the trash you will then be able to delete trash which will remove it from the hard drive.
